Frank Marchese was Professor of Computer Science at Pace University where he taught courses in visual computing and software engineering. He founded and co-directed the Pace Digital Gallery, and was published widely in science, technology, history, and art. He was an associate editor of ACM JOCCH (Journal of Computers and Cultural Heritage), and was recently exploring the artistic origins of information visualization as well as the long term conservation of time-based digital art. Frank died on September 21, 2015.
